Why You Should Visit Vail, Colorado

The town of Vail was officially incorporated in 1966 and it has a rich history. While Pete was still working at Loveland, he scouted out the slopes of Vail with Earl Eaton, a native Colorado and began developing a ski area with him.  



The vail mountain can cover over 500 acres, which is considered to be the third-largest ski mountain in North America and the second-largest in the whole United States. It is surrounded by 350, 000 acres of national forest which you can enjoy looking at.  


The mountain offers a wide variation of trails that can fit different types of skiers. They have wide-open moguls which can be found in the three areas of Front-Side, Back Bowls, and the Blue Sky Basin. This is why a lot of skiers do not miss the chance to experience or experience again what it has to offer. There is a total of 200 trails that are perfect for beginner and intermediate skiers, while half of the trails are ideal for more experienced skiers.
